| Little is known or at least documented about Eunice Cheney and Hubbard Chamberlain and their children. We learn from an 1890's letter written by Dr. Levi Cheney to Elam McBride stating that Eunice did marry Hubbard Chamberlain and together they had two children. One was said to be a son also named Hubbard Chamberlain. Dr. Levi Cheney from Independence Mo., Jan.3 1897 to Elam McBride of Salt Lake: "Eunice married a Hubbard Chamberlain, had 2 children, I only know the name of one of them it was Hubbard" The Chamberlain family lived in the Ischua, Cattaraugus Co., New York area. On this 1856 map (below) of the area of Ischua, you will find several Chamberlains including multiple "H. Chamberlains." Many Chamberlains lived in the area throughout the late 1800s. I suspect that one of the families were Hubbard and Eunice Cheney Chamberlain although I cannot currently verify this. Eunice had several of her brothers including Benjamin Chine, Aaron Chine, Moses Chine and Herd Chine (all spelled Chine) living close to each other on the 1820 Federal Census for Ischua giving further clues as to the possible home of Hubbard and Eunice Cheney Chamberlain. .[test.FTW] Little is known or at least documented about Eunice Cheney and Hubbard Chamberlain and their children.
